Adam was born and raised in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. He became obsessed with music at the age of 6 when he first ran his fingers over a piano in grade school. He went on to study and play classical piano at a university level until the age of 12. Throughout junior high Adam played trumpet in jazz band as well as percussion and the tuba. Adam got into electronic music as a late teen, taking in popular music videos of the time and going to East coast raves in barns and hangers which eventually led him down a path to the famous “Evolve Festival” in Halifax. At this point, he decided to pack up his life and move to the other side of the country to pursue music.
In Calgary, he found himself surrounded by opportunities not only to learn, but to immerse himself into dance culture. Attending weekly events, he met Stirling Donnelly at a house party in 2009 and the two formed the drum and bass duo “Carbon Copy”. Working with 403DNB, the two made their mark in the western Canadian DNB scene opening for acts such as Spectra Soul, Dub Phizix, Icicle and Hybris. During this time Adam made numerous bass tracks under the Carbon Copy moniker, but was always working to expand his repertoire and was finding himself more and more drawn to 4/4 music.
In 2014, Adam left Carbon Copy and has rebranded himself as “Adam All Day”. His current repertoire spans multiple genres and tempos but centres around house and garage.
